I'm a professional yoga teacher, yet I need a certificate. Can I get the paper without undergoing the certification course?

Certification is a process of observation, evaluation, assessment and understanding of a candidate's skills, experience, knowledge and motivation. Notwithstanding your professionalism, it is hard to tell if you meet all certification criteria or not.

Before giving a certificate out, we must get ensured that you clearly understand goals of yoga and how yoga practice correlates with its goals. You need to posses enough knowledge to convey the goals of yoga to your students. You must understand all the various methods, techniques, approaches to safe and effective practice. Not only you should be fit and skillful, you should be able to guide your students to level with you.

Our yoga teacher's certification program is designed with these goals in mind. It is not a training program on one hand. On the other hand though, a professional yoga teacher like yourself might even discover some new facets of the art and science of yoga.

I completed my 240 Hour Teacher Training Course at the Himalayan Yoga Academy in March 2015.

It was one of the most enriching and life changing experiences I have undergone. The overall course allowed me to face and overcome some of my greatest fears. The teachers were all wonderful as they each provided a different yet inspiring and authentic approach to the practice of yoga. I made so many amazing friends that I still keep in touch with and learnt so much more about myself during the 6 week course.

I left India with a new zest to want to learn everything I could about Yoga and am so grateful for the time I had there.
