How many hours per day you run yoga classes?
In a yoga teacher certification course, our curriculum foresees 5 to 8.25 hours of classes daily. Asana practice takes three hours per day. Morning warm-up class is 45 minutes long and is optional. Lectures are 1 to 2 hours per day. There is one 60 minutes asana alignment workshop in a day. After dinner, we practice meditation for 30 minutes to an hour. Shatkarma classes take about 30 minutes and are three times a week. That's 15 minutes a day. Pranayama practice takes another 15 minutes daily.
Those undertaking yoga intensive courses can skip some of these classes and focus on asana practice and alignment, and meditation classes.
