What is the difference between Basic yoga teacher training program and Advanced YTT program?
At the moment, we offer two 200-hours standards for yoga teacher trainees: Basic and Advanced. Both programs are Yoga Alliance standard-compliant and graduates are certified with the same type of certificate upon completion of any of the two kinds of programs.
The difference between the two programs is that Basic program is the minimum requirement standard teacher training program for those who are at the beginning of their yoga path yet want to get trained as a yoga teacher and, well, start teaching as a certified yoga teacher. The Advanced program provides more classes on top of the Basic program covering around 240 hours of practicum, lectures and workshops. The Advanced teacher training program offers extended Asana Alignment workshops with one of our Lead Teachers where he's going to share a number of tips and tricks about aligning an asana perfectly. Additionally, we'll include a dedicated Analysis of Yoga Sutras series of lectures discussing each and every yoga sutra of the Book I in a comprehensive philosophical context. Finally, we'll have a broader set of lecture and workshops on Yoga Anatomy and Physiology within the Advanced teacher training program.
